Kyle Tolman
Kyle Tolman is a dedicated community leader, passionate child advocate, and pastor—driven by a profound commitment to being a voice for the voiceless. His heart for children and youth fuels his mission to ensure that both current and future generations can grow up free from fear, neglect, and deprivation. Married to Nicole Tolman and the proud father of two adventurous young boys, Kyle’s own family life deeply informs his perspective and purpose. His lived experience as a husband and father empowers him to pursue the highest standard of care, protection, and dignity for vulnerable and displaced children across the West Rand. Through his leadership and unwavering compassion, Kyle continues to champion spaces of safety, restoration, and hope for those who need it most.

A devoted wife to Kyle Tolman, mother of two energetic and loving boys, and co-founder of Cross Connect Community Outreach. With an unwavering passion for children and families, she has committed her life to empowering communities and creating safe, nurturing environments for those in need. As Development Director of Cross Connect Community Outreach, she works alongside her husband and CEO, Kyle, to advance their shared vision of transforming lives through meaningful connection and sustainable support systems.

Jacques Beket
Married to Madel Fourie Beket and a proud father of two, Jacques is deeply committed to the care and well-being of vulnerable children within our communities. With a B.Com in Marketing, Jacques brings both strategic insight and heartfelt dedication to his role. His passion for community upliftment, combined with his professional expertise, drives his mission to help ensure that every child receives the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.

Pierre Kok
Pierre is an Advocate of the High Court and a proud member of the Pan African Bar Association of South Africa (PABASA). Residing in Randburg, he is a devoted husband to Yolandi Kok—a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church—and a loving father to three daughters. Pierre combines his legal expertise with a strong sense of family and community, bringing both integrity and compassion to his work.

Treasurer
Marelize Grove
Marelize is a devoted Christian who firmly believes that God has a unique plan for every individual. Throughout her life, she has experienced God's faithful provision and has been blessed with a deep compassion for people in need. With patience, resources, skills, and at times even just the right words, she strives to serve wherever God leads her, trusting in His perfect timing. She holds to the belief that God always gives enough—recognising that “enough” looks different for everyone. Her passion for children is a God-given calling, and she has been actively involved in various child-centred projects over the years. Although she has not been called to motherhood, she sees this as part of God's design and embraces the opportunities He gives her to support and care for children where it matters most. Recently, she joined the team at Cross Connect, a place where she feels God has led her in this season. She considers it a privilege to be part of a team that lives out God’s love through meaningful outreach and service.

Rozanne Janet Smith
Rozanne Smith is an Associate Professor, married to Wayne Smith, and a devoted mother of two. She is deeply passionate about the well-being and rights of vulnerable children. With a Ph.D. in Auditing and as a proud member of the South African Institute for Professional Accountants (SAIPA), Rozanne brings a wealth of academic and professional expertise to her work. Her commitment to service is driven by both her personal values and her scholarly insight. Rozanne is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, championing initiatives that promote dignity, care, and lasting support for those most in need.

HR Professional
Yolanda vd Merwe
Yolanda van der Merwe is a full‑time HR professional with an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology. She serves on the board of CCCO and lends her expertise to multiple non‑profit organisations focused on uplifting communities. As a devoted wife and mother to one energetic son, Yolanda’s boundless energy and genuine empathy drive her to roll up her sleeves wherever support is needed. Whether advocating for fair labour practices or spearheading community initiatives, she is committed to inspiring positive change and empowering everyone she meets.

Olefile Masangane
Olefile Masangane is a creative leader and community strategist, currently serving as Community Mobilisation Manager at Heartlines. With a background in the arts and a deep passion for people development, he combines storytelling, cultural intelligence, and innovative programme design to drive meaningful social change. Olefile holds a BA in Communication Science (UNISA), is a certified Cultural Intelligence Facilitator, and an MBIT Coach.

Alida Delport
Alida Delport is a friendly and reliable person with a genuine heart for others. She is married to Naas Delport, and together they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters who bring immense joy and love into their lives. Family is Alida’s greatest treasure, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. Holding a B.Com degree in Financial Management, Alida is self-employed, a choice that allows her to maintain a fulfilling balance between her career and family life. Her unwavering faith is the cornerstone of her daily journey, inspiring her to live with purpose and compassion. Alida is deeply committed to helping and supporting those around her, always seeking to be a source of kindness and encouragement.
